What if you knew exactly what Medicare required for chiropractic documentation?
The annual Medicare Playbook provides both Chiropractors and Chiropractic Assistants with the specific playbook of knowledge as it relates to the information and interpretation of what the Medicare Administrative Contractors clinical reviewers use to determine medical necessity of chiropractic records as well as defining how Doctors of Chiropractic can participate in Medicare’s new Quality Payment Program per the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act 2015 (MACRA) Law: the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and the Advanced Alternative Payment Model (APM).
By applying the very simple and understandable procedures outlined in this on-demand webinar series and comprehensive manual, Chiropractors will have greater success in managing Medicare cases through documentation standards per Medicare policy and the Medicare payment system.
Do you meet the threshold to be MIPS eligible?
Performance threshold is set at 15 points for MIPS in 2018 Year 2 of the Quality Payment Program. 5 points will be added to the final score of any MIPS eligible clinician or group who’s in a small practice (defined as 15 or fewer eligible clinicians). The MIPS eligible clinician or group must submit data for at least one (1) performance category in an applicable performance period to qualify for this bonus.
